The US pharma company Pfizer has published its Q2 2021 figures. According to Pfizer the revenue increased to nearly 19 billion dollars, growth nearly 90%.
-The second quarter was remarkable in a number of ways. Most visible the speed and efficiency of our efforts with Biontech, to help vaccinate the world against Covid-19 have been unprecedented with now more than a billion doses of vaccines have been delivered globally, said CEO Albert Bourla in the release.
Pfizer’s net income increased 59% to 5,5 billion dollars. During the period R&D expenses were up 17% to 2,3 billion dollars.
Pfizer Biontech covid-vaccine showed 7,8 billion dollars in direct sales and revenues during the quarter.
The EPS was 0,98 dollars and the whole year estimate is raised to 3,95-4,04 dollars.
The Company expects to manufacture 3 billion covid-doses by the end of the year.
