The new, ultra-thin timepiece provides full visibility across the entire mechanical calibre.

This Alpine Eagle 41 XP TT watch is entirely made in Chopard’s workshops from grade 5 titanium. This metal is boasting tried and tested resistance.

The water resistance is 100 meters and it has mechanical movement. The modern design is still sporty.

The best design Oscars related to costumes, production and makeups was rewarded to “Poor Things” movie.

The best documentary film was “20 days in Mariupol” from Ukraine, directed by Mstyslav Chernov.

The best director Oscar was rewarded to Christopher Nolan from ” Oppenheimer”.

And the best actor Oscar to Cillian Murphy from ” Oppenheimer”.

And the best actress Oscar to Emma Stone from ” Poor Things”.

SuperBowl 2024: Usher and Alicia Keys at halftime

This year’s SuperBowl halftime show was by Usher who was joined by for example Alicia Keys, Lin Jon and Reba McEntire in the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, US.

It was also one of the biggest advertisement events as the cost of 30-second ad has increased to 7 million dollars.

Super Bowl week starts – Usher in halftime

The Super Bowl week starts in the US. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransisco 49ers have landed in Las Vegas on Sunday.

On Sunday 11th February the match will begin at 6.30 pm ET in Allegiant Stadium in Nevada. The haltime performer is Usher.

Chiefs won the SuperBowl last year in Glendale, Arizona against the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to Wall Street Journal, the match will have also financial market indication. If the San Fransisco 49ers win the game, it will mean that the stocks will rise. On the other hand, if Kansas City Chiefs wins this game it would mean a yearly loss for stocks.

Wall Street closed up – Europe down

Wall Street closed up on Thursday trading. Dow Jones closed up 0,97% to 38.519 points, S&P500 index closed up 1,25% to 4906 points and Nasdaq index closed up 1,30% to 15.361 points.

Apple, which reported revenue growth fueled by iPhone sales and services after the closing bell, closed at 186,86 dollars, up 1,33%.

Amer Sports which debuted in Nyse after IPO, closed at 13,40 dollars, up 3,08%. The IPO price was 13 dollars per share and the company raised 1,47 billion dollars.

Europe closed down on Thursday as Dax index closed down 0,26% to 16.859 points, FTSE100 closed down 0,11% to 7622 points and CAC40 index closed down 0,89% to 7588 points.

The British pharma company GSK reported their earnings on Thursday. The stock closed up 1,16% to 1586 pounds in London. The company said they have good outlook for their RSV vaccine.

LVMH to become a Premium Partner to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

The French luxury company LVMH revealed it will be a Premium Partner to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paraolympic Games. The theme is ” the art of crafting dream”.

According to company, the Olympic and Paraolympic medals will be designed by Chaumet, a luxury jewellery brand in the group. Most Hennessy wines & spirits will be served as part of hospitality programs.

LVMH will also support vulnerable 1000 children and young people, aged 4-25 years old, to participate sports programms as part of the Paris 2024 sponsorship.

Apple Music launches Rihanna’s Road to Halftime

Apple Music has launched Rihanna’s Road to Halftime ahead of Super Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, 12th February.

According to Apple, subscribers can access the megastar’s songs with Spatial Audio in Dolby Atmos.

Rihanna’s Road to Halftime includes also an official collection of 32 playlists featuring the top songs that each NFL team listens to in the locker room, the weight room and on game day.

Additional pregame moments will include exclusive warmup playlists curated by NFL players like Travis Kelce (KansasCity Chiefs), Stefon Diggs (Buffalo Bills), Trevon Diggs (Dallas Cowboys), Davante Adams ( Las Vegas Riders) and Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys).

The new sports Apple Watch Ultra

The US tech company Apple unveiled yesterday its new design and features for the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Ultra. The company has increased safety functions in both products.

The new Apple Watch Ultra, starting from 999 dollars, is now having for example blood oxygen, Crash detection and a fall detection functions.

It also monitors your heartbeats and rhythms, overnight temperatures and tracks your sleep.

Both products have extended battery life, in Apple Watch Ultra the battery life is 36 hours for normal use and 60 hours with low power setting. The wrist temperatures can vary from minus 20 celcius to 55 celcius heat.

The case is titanium and the water resistance is 100 meters. The flat panel is sapphire chrystal which protects the Watch from edge impacts.

The Watch has also a siren to 180 meters in case of emergency. Dual frequence GPS system is most helpful with the difficult locations.

The Watch is available from 23 September and the new iPhone from 16 September.
