The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is boosting its electric/hybrid car production during this year. According to Mr Jochen Hermann, vice-president development e-drive in the company, said that the connected and autonomous services together with the electric cars will shape the sector industry further.

When the company had 8 models in 2018 for plug in hybrids, this year 2020 the models will reach 20 with over 100 km range. According to Mercedes the key focus areas are still traffic safety, data responsibility, human rights, climate protection, air quality and resource preservation.

Daimler (DAI) share price closed on Thursday down 2,17 % to 44,43 euros and the market cap is about 47 billion euros. During the one year period the Daimler share price has fallen 5,3 %. Mercedes will present the full-year results on the 11th February 2020.
