Dow Jones index closed on record high on Friday at Wall Street as the index passed over 40.000 points. The market rally has been boosted by the rate cut expectations later this year.
The US biotech company Novavax, which reported the Covid-vaccine collaboration with French Sanofi over a week ago, continued up in New York last week.
During last week Novavax stock jumped 46% to 12,99 dollars.
The US biotech company Moderna said on Friday to Financial Times that it has won its patent dispute in the European Patent Office against Pfizer and Biontech. Moderna’s stock closed up 13,3% for the week to 132,90 dollars in New York.
Pfizer closed up 2,25% to 28,64 dollars and Biontech down 1,16% to 90,61 dollars.
The UK pharma company AstraZeneca, which said it will end its Covid-vaccine production, is having investor day on Tuesday.
The US fashion and luxury company Ralph Lauren will present earnings on Thursday. The AI company Nvidia will have its earnings day on Wednesday after the market closing.
